![]() feel free to reach out if you have any questions.make sure “edge-smoothing” is turned OFF.Idk its just something to do with that version Under the reshade menu right click “edit post-processing” and make sure all values (EXCEPT linearization) are set to a value of 0 if for some reason you first download 4.9 and there is a weird grey/black cast over the images you will need to change a small setting.to get the desired affect shown in the photos, you WILL need the optional shaders/textures + FULL BLOOM.the reshade does include additional shaders (optional) which I have included in the file package + the FULL BLOOM MULTILUT by key commands:.If you enjoy the colours and vibe of the preset, give it a download and lmk what you think or reblog/share it ♡ I wanted something that was both bright and vibrant with high contrast so I could showcase both my builds and my sims. I was planning to release this after updating my blog, but since I’ve gotten so many messages, I thought it best to release this before I forgot lol Here we go! How I edit my screenshots for Life in Simerica! Keep in mind, I use the same steps for all my screenshots in my Straud gameplay, only difference is I use a different Reshade preset and a PSD for those, but we aren’t here to talk about that lol, here is how I edit! Enjoy! :)ġ.) In game I take the screenshot using the Sumahama Reshade Preset.Hey everyone, here is the long awaited for reshade preset that I’ve been recently using for current sims LP. Open up the screen shot in Photoshop and this is where the fun begins! First I use Topaz Clean, Texture smoothing and 1000px Resize from the Clean and Clear Action Set.Ģ.) Then I select Topaz DeNoise under the filters tab (This is a plugin that you download, You can either purchase it or get a 30 day trial, you can get it here), These are the only settings I use:ģ.) I add a new layer, select the gradient tool and draw the gradient thingie, once that is done I set it to overlay and usually I have the opacity set at 50%, but it jumps between 50% and 60% depending on the picture.Īs you can see, after that it looks a tad weird right? So I just mess with where I want the light to come from. Usually what I try and do is to get a bit of light on the sims but mostly have the light targeted for the background. See how the girls only have a bit of light on them and how mostly the background is lighter? All you have to do is play around with how you want the gradient to be and at what opacity. :) I like the lighting to look natural instead of direct light on the focus point of the picture.Ĥ.) Select the background copy layer, not the gradient overlay layer, then select the Image tab, hover over adjustment and then select color balance. Here are my setting for that from left to right: -15 / 0 / +30. Step 1: after you’ve successfully install topaz clean. #SIMS 4 TOPAZ CLEAN SETTINGS INSTALL#Īs you can see it makes the screenshot a lot cooler and gives it almost a blue tint. Step 3: Apply this setting below and click ok. ![]() Step 4: go to filter>sharpen>smart sharpen. amount 500 and radius 0.3 pixels or just go to filter>sharpen>sharpen. Step 5: Add coloring or PSD on the picture. Since I like cool tones over warm tones, this is what I like to have my color balance set at.ĥ.) Select the image tab, hover over adjustments and then select Brightness/ Contrast.
